Colin Jelf and his team will make the 1300 mile trip to Kupiskis this weekend with the aim of winning a fourth UIM F2 world championship this year.
Last season acted as a come back for the British racer, after leading the first round race in Lithuania, he dislodged a buoy and was given a one lap penalty.
In the second round held in Portugal, he was spectacularly blown out of contention by a rogue gust of wind.
The Kingfisher Fire & Security sponsored driver looked back:
2020 saw us prove the boat had the speed to be competitive in the fleet, it was a new boat and a new set up so last season was really all about getting to grips with the boat and finding her biting point.
Looking forward to the 2021 campaign he continued:
We still haven’t had a lot of time in the boat with the COVID-19 restrictions, but we have a fantastic sponsor and a strong team behind us.
We will just have to see what we can do!
