Buby Bertels almost didn’t make it to San Nazzaro

His boat suffered a barrel roll at Viverone and was sent to Molgaard’s factory in Denmark for a full rebuild.

It arrived back in Belgium just 24 hours before the team had to leave for Italy.

Twenty boats are entered for round three. Bertels’ is the one with the wildest story to get there.
