The heat (2) is on in Zarasai

Konstantin Ustinov of Russia could finally join the field for Race 2 as both his boat was repaired and Race Doctor Mate Vidra approved his condition after Saturday’s accident. However, the one to take off this time was italian Luca Fornasarig in his Brindisi sponsored race cat even before completing lap 1. Zarasai closes successful day 1

It’s the end of day one on Zarasai Lake with a massive crowd gathering around the lakeside to watch their very first F2 European Championship getting underway, unfortunately without their local hero Edgaras Riabko who was unable to fulfill the day’s schedule following his accident during the Saturday Free Practice. Qualifying results from Zarasai

Qualifying session was just around halway when disaster struck for NewStar driver Konstantin Ustinov who flipped at the end of the 800 m straight of Zarasai lake circuit. Zarasai marks new baltic base for F2
